The concept of chakras or centers of spiritual power and energy in the body has a long history within eastern medicine, particularly in India. There are seven chakras that may affect your overall health and wellbeing and having a so-called “blocked” chakra can potentially lead to various health problems. Find out what these seven chakras that are positioned along your spine are called, what related health problems are associated with them, and the foods you can eat to help relieve a “blocked” chakra
Have your heard this saying
🍟 “EAT BREAKFAST LIKE A KING,
🥘 LUNCH LIKE A PRINCE AND
🍕 DINNER LIKE A PAUPER.”This does not agrees to the Ayurvedic principle of Diet and Nutrition. According to Ayurveda, our digestion directly depends upon the Agni (digestive fire) and Agni depends upon the position of the Sun.In the morning, when the sun is just rising, our digestive fire is also very weak and we are suppose to kindle the agni with warm, light and nutritious diet
The sun is highest in the sky during mid-day and that’s when our biggest meal of the day should be-lunch. Then again it sets at night and we should have a light dinner to prepare our bodies for sleep.🍴 Eat like a baby in the morning
🍽️ Eat like an adult in the day
🍲 Eat like a retired in the eveningThis is just a general advice but this may differ to every individual according to your dosha, season, age, current imbalance etc.Ask your Ayurvedic practitioner to get a personalised approach of diet and nutrition.#ayurvedicdiet #ayurvedicnutrition ##ayurvedasunshinecoast #ayurveadqueensland #ayurvedaaustralia #ayurvedicdoctor #ayurvedamaroochydore🥘

✔️ Relationship between five elements, Tridosha and Senses ⁉️✔️Consciousness exists in every cell of the body and in the 5 Elements – Space, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. The 5 Elements are the manifest or ‘Visible Forms’ of Pure Consciousness, which itself is Invisible. Cosmic force of Intelligence and Design acting on the 5 subtle elements brings into expression the 5 organs of perception.✔️ The 5 elements correspond progressively to the five sense perceptions as follows:✨ Ether ‘Akasha’ – All enclosing, Omnipresence (EAR) -Speech😮‍💨 Air ‘Vatu’ – Movement and Nourishment (SKIN) - Arms🔥 Fire ‘Agni’ – Transformation and Metabolism (EYE) - Legs🌍 Earth ‘Prithvi’ – Structure and Solidity (NOSE) - Reproductive Organs🌊Water ‘Jala’ – Flow and Liquidity (TONGUE) - Excretory Organs
⁉️ Do you know that 🍁 Autumn is one of the ✔️ best times of the year for performing a cleanse?📖 The ancient textbook of Ayurveda says it is best to detox during the transitional seasons of spring and autumn. The environment and seasons have great influence in our lives and the symbol of transition applies to us and our bodies, as well as the environment.⛱️ For many of us, summer is the season of fun, travel, late nights, holidays and many social activities. There is a greater risk of building toxins in the summer days. Summer is also the time of pitta accumulation and by the end of summer, it is aggravated.❤️‍🔥 Pitta aggravation may lead to mental and physical burnout, stressing our adrenals and taxing our nervous system. When excess pitta accumulates in the liver it can result in migraines, irritability, rashes, anger and more.🌻 During autumn, the wind begins to blow, dryness increases and the vata dosha begins to take over. But imagine what happens when fire is fanned by the wind? The fire burns even brighter, doesn’t it?🍁 An autumn cleanse flushes the accumulated pitta toxins in the system and balances the inner fire. It supports our livers, and prepares us for the winter months.
The softer, milder, and moderate months of autumn are ideal for giving us a chance to reset our mind and body.⁉️ How to start a detox?
Ayurveda recommends different types of detox depending on your body type (dosha) and current health issues.
At 🌻 Sunshine Ayurveda, before you begin a detox program, an experienced Ayurveda doctor will assess your condition and needs, and tailor a program suited to you.Rid yourself of summer toxins and prepare for winter.#ayurveda #ayurvedasunshinecoast #ayurvedaaustralia #panchakarmaaustralia #panchakarma ##autumndetox #autumnlifestyle #autumncleanse
The beginning of March heralds the transition to autumn. We begin to see changes in the light, the weather, and our surroundings.
Ayurveda teaches us how to counteract seasonal changes so we can achieve perfect balance.
Ayurveda divides the year into three seasons based on the predominant dosha associated with each. Traditionally , autumn season is divided between two doshas—early autumn is governed by pitta, and late autumn is governed by vata.
According to ayurvedic theory, by the time autumn rolls around, we have accumulated plenty of heat in our tissues from the summer.
As the leaves dry up and the wind begins to blow, vata dosha takes over.
Vata qualities are windy, cold, rough, and dry. When autumn brings wind, it produces restlessness. We experience variability and change when we go from stormy and rainy weather to quiet, golden days.
Symptoms of vata imbalance manifest as anxiety, fear, insomnia, constipation, dry skin, and stiff and painful joints. Because vata governs the nervous system, mental afflications can be strongest during this season.
Autumn is a season of transformation. It is an ideal time to change our diet and lifestyle to become in tune with nature and our bodies, and achieve internal balance.#Panchakarma #autumndetox #panchakarmainautumn #livinginautumn #pittacleanse #pittadosha #pittavata #ayurvedasunshinecoast #ayurveda #ayurvedaindailylife
