Introduction to Ayurveda – Free Seminar
26 July 2020
New to Ayurveda?
Join Dr. Ram Mani Bhandari for this introductory Ayurveda workshop to get into the depth of the ancient holistic approach of health and wellness.
The word “Ayur” comes from the Sanskrit word “Ayu” meaning life and “Veda” can be translated as wisdom or knowledge. So basically, Ayurveda means “the knowledge of life”. In its essence, Ayurveda provides you with the knowledge of who you are and how to live your life in harmony. For this, you need to understand your own mind-body personality (dosha) and Ayurveda gives you the key to this understanding!
Does this sound great to you? Then this is the workshop for you to either re-awaken or introduce yourself with the wonderful world of Ayurveda.
In this workshop we will cover:
- What is Ayurveda
- The concept of ‘Prakruti’ and ‘Vikruti’
- The 5 Elements, how they relate to the doshas
- The Doshas, how your body is unique
- The potential causes of imbalance
- Explore ways to enhance your well-being
This workshop is open to everyone who is interested in holistic and natural healing.
