Ayurvedic Foot Massage (Padabhyanga) Workshop

Join us for a relaxing and educational Ayurvedic Foot Massage Workshop with Dr Ram Mani Bhandari at Sunshine Ayurveda in Maroochydore.
This hands-on workshop explores the traditional Ayurvedic practice of Padabhyanga, a therapeutic foot massage using warm herbal oils and the Kansa wand, designed to promote deep relaxation and support overall wellbeing.
Back by popular demand, Sunshine Ayurveda is delighted to once again offer this practical and informative workshop presented by experienced Ayurvedic doctor Dr Ram Mani Bhandari.
During this 3-hour workshop, you will learn traditional Ayurvedic foot massage techniques and gain practical skills that can be used as a daily self-care routine or incorporated into your professional practice as an additional healing modality for clients.
The Importance of Foot Care in Ayurveda
Each foot contains 26 bones and a complex network of muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerve endings. According to Ayurvedic anatomy, the feet also contain numerous marma points (vital energy points) that are connected to many organs and systems throughout the body.
Stimulating these points through Ayurvedic massage helps restore balance, improve circulation and support the body’s natural healing processes.
Benefits of Padabhyanga
By applying traditional techniques with specially selected Ayurvedic oils, foot massage can provide a wide range of benefits, including:
• Calms the mind and reduces stress
• Promotes deeper, more restful sleep
• Improves circulation in the feet and legs
• Nourishes and softens the skin
• Supports foot strength and flexibility
• Helps maintain healthy eyesight and hearing
• Balances Vata dosha and supports nervous system health
