Abhyanga Certification Course – Ayurvedic Oil Massage
Abhyanga, the traditional Ayurvedic oil massage, is one of the most profound therapies for health, rejuvenation, and balance. This 16-hour certification course offers a complete blend of theory, practice, and supervised clinical training, enabling participants to confidently deliver Abhyanga as a professional healing modality.
The training is certified by IICT, making it a recognized qualification that can be integrated into professional wellness practice.
🧾 What You Will Learn
- The foundations of Ayurveda and the philosophy of Abhyanga
- Understanding doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and their relation to massage
- Selection of oils: base oils, medicated oils, and dosha-specific oils
- Preparation of therapist, client, oils, and environment
- Step-by-step full-body Abhyanga sequence
- Special techniques: head massage (Shiro Abhyanga), foot massage (Padabhyanga), back massage, and synchronized four-hand massage
- Abhyanga in Panchakarma and daily self-care (Dinacharya)
- Indications, contraindications, safety, and professional ethics
- Assessment and supervised practice to build confidence and competence
