Remedial Massage

What is Remedial massage?

Remedial massage is a therapeutic modality used to reduce discomfort, loosen muscles, and tighten them. This is used to locate and repair damaged areas of the body, as well as to speed the body’s own healing processes., It can treat a variety of health problems by relieving muscle, cartilages, and bone pain., It is also used to pinpoint and help repair areas of the body, and to also speed the body’s own patient recovery. Localized pain can be caused by muscular disorders or can radiate to other parts of the body. Remedial massage aims to locate the source of discomfort by addressing both the cause and symptoms of the condition.

To restore the normal position of the joints, increase blood flow, and cure wounds, the therapists will try to balance the lengths, tone, and pressure of ligaments and joints. Achy muscles, trauma, fibromyalgia, hypoplasia, fibrositis, spondylosis, osteoarthritis, and frozen shoulders are among ailments that can benefit from relieving and stabilizing the muscles. Remedial massage can help premature newborns gain weight.

A therapeutic massage can also aid in the dissolution of adhesions in the soft tissues. Cellulose fibers are produced, which causes adhesions to form.  Stress, trauma, and overuse cause collagen fibers to build up in soft tissues.  A remedial massage helps to break down collagen adhesions by using deeper massage methods.
