Ayurvedic Head Massage Workshop
Step into the world of Ayurveda’s healing touch with this practical Ayurvedic Head Massage Workshop in Maroochydore. Guided by Dr. Ram Mani Bhandari, you’ll learn the art of Shiro Abhyanga, a traditional therapy that nourishes the scalp, calms the nervous system, and revitalizes your mind and body.
This three-hour workshop with Dr. Ram Mani Bhandari is a comprehensive theoretical and practical session. It provides an introduction to traditional Ayurvedic massage with an emphasis on the marmas (energy points) that are located on the head. During the workshop, you will learn how to perform an Ayurvedic head, neck, and face massage in a sitting position. You will also be taught about the significance of marma points and pressure points in the head region. You will be taught how to choose Ayurvedic oils to suit a particular body constitution or dosha.
You will also receive course handouts with theoretical notes and illustrations of marma points.
This course will give you an insight into the Ayurvedic principles related to the practice of an Indian Head Massage, and you will be taught the skills to perform it. The definitive advantage of the Ayurvedic Head massage is that it can be performed anywhere as it doesn´t require any special equipment!
