What is Insomnia?

Ayurvedic View of Insomnia:

  • Hormonal imbalances: Imbalances in hormones like cortisol, melatonin, and thyroid hormones can affect sleep.
  • Medical conditions: Conditions such as chronic pain, respiratory disorders, gastrointestinal issues, and hormonal disorders can disrupt sleep.
  • Medications: Certain medications, such as antidepressants or stimulants, can interfere with sleep.
